It’s crazy how your life can be flipped upside down in a matter of days. At one moment you think you have it all figured out, and then God laughs and says, “Nope, sorry. I have something different in mind.”
One month ago, my 2015 looked like this:
- FINALLY graduate college with a degree in Early Childhood Education
- Enjoy my last few months as the nanny of an amazing little girl I’ve witnessed grow up over the last three years.
- Get a job as a preschool teacher at a Christian or Parochial school.
- Spend my summer at the beach, camping, and hiking up in NH.
- Maybe knock a few more national parks off my bucket list.
One weekend in July, though, everything changed.
God showed me that He had a much greater plan for me. He told me that he was finally calling me up to do what I’ve always had on my heart to do: mission work.
