Hello, I’m Danielle! Welcome to my World Race blog!
A few things about me:
I am 25 years old.
I am currently living in Grand Rapids, Michigan.
I graduated from Hope College with a degree in Business Management and Spanish, and I am currently working as a Marketing Analyst.
I have attended Ada Bible Church for the last two years. I was baptized there in 2015 and I am currently in a Women’s Bible study with some fantastic women who challenge me as we study God’s Word together.
I love coffee. Everything about coffee – coffee mugs, coffee shops, coffee dates. Everything.
I have one older brother – he’s currently serving in the military and he’s my best friend!
I love people, but I am also an introvert.
Spending time outside in God’s creation is my favorite thing to do.
I love quotes, and hearing people’s stories, and wrestling with tough questions, and real honest conversations.
In October, I will begin the World Race and share God’s good news to my brothers and sisters in Christ in India, Nepal, Cambodia, Vietnam, Botswana, South Africa, Swaziland, Argentina, Chile, Bolivia, and Peru.
I am going on the World Race because I have been called: to love “the least of these”. To share God’s gift of love and salvation with the lost and broken-hearted. I am going on the World Race because God has redeemed me and loves me, and He has given me a heart for His people. To meet them where they are. To come along side people. To encourage. To make an impact, one person at a time.
I invite you to come along on this journey with me as I live into this new adventure with God. I need to raise $16,961 in order to be on the mission field for a year. You can donate and follow my journey through this blog. In addition to financial support, your prayers and encouragement will help me through this year as well!
I would love to hear from you, so please feel free to contact me at any time! [email protected]
Blessings,
Danielle
