On October 21, we arrived in Thessaloniki, Greece. In biblical times, Thessaloniki was named Thessalonica. It is the same city that apostle Paul wrote his letters to in First and Second Thessalonians. The city is rich with history on every street. It is home to arguably the oldest church in the world. You will find in the video below a street lined with white buildings. This is called Aristolelous Square after the famous Greek philosopher, Aristotle. However, the city is most famous for the white tower. 

As world racers, we did enjoy all of these sites. However, we first searched for some comforts of home in a Starbucks and TGI Friday’s. Come see Greece through our eyes by watching the video blog below.
