Hello Everyone!!

Today was an amazing day here in Podgorica, Montenegro’s Capital. We spent the morning in personal prayer and devotional time then headed down the street to the mall to evangelize and get a cup of coffee. Sharing a cup of coffee is common practice for Montenegrins. If you haven’t tried Turkish coffee it’s a must! While at the mall we found a gym! Later in the day Darlin and I got in a gym sesh. It was the first time I’ve been in a gym since January. I didn’t realize how much I truly enjoy going until the ability to go was removed.

Later in the evening we had a prayer meeting at the church. It was awesome to see Stephen, a teammate, lead worship. The pastor was so spirit led and he called out people who were holding onto deep pain. It was incredible to be able to pray with a woman and see the power of the love of Jesus break strong holds. Healing took place tonight and I am so excited to follow up with her tomorrow.

Naturally, we got coffee with the pastor and his wife after the prayer meeting. They brought us to a mall a bit further from the church where I saw stores like “Swarovski” and “Mango”, stores I haven’t seen in seven months! As we sipped our shakes, espressos, Turkish coffee and fresh juices he told us a story.

There was a man standing alone and a blonde man came up to him claiming to be the devil.

The man said, “If you’re the devil where are your horns and tail?”

The blonde man laughed and said, “I don’t have those things”.

The man replied, “If you’re the devil, have you come for my soul?”

The blonde man said, “No, I don’t want your soul. Your soul only affects you. I want your dreams. Your dreams have the power to impact many.”

Though this story is fictional it does carry some truth. The devil does of course want our souls but what if he settled for having our dreams? Sitting there in the cafe listening to the pastor share this, it hit me that my life has potential for much more than I give it credit.

Yours does too.

There is in fact a purpose for our dreams and passions. There is influence for good to be made through them and there is hope to be shared. How many times have we heard stories of regret, longing or heard I almost xyz…

I encourage you to find your dream and hold on to it. Dream big… We do NOT serve a small God. Pursue this dream with a fervour and zeal that can not be stopped. When circumstances seem impossible or like everything is falling apart call on the One who has instilled this dream in you. Remember that it is not in vain and greater things are yet to come.
