In one week I’ll be touching down in California with my team. In one week the Race will be over and I’ll be adjusting to another culture, different food, different people and different places. A year has passed and we’ve all grown. I’m grateful to have a new perspective on home; on how much you all mean to me and how blessed I am by you. Thank you for your words of encouragement and for being real with me along the way. Thank you for being strong in my moments of weakness or brokenness. You were a strong part of my race as well. I am excited to spend time with you and please don’t hesitate to make plans with me first! I want to hear about your year! I want to hear all YOUR stories too! As I adjust back into U.S. culture I ask for grace and patience. There will be times when I need to grieve, times when I’m overwhelmed and maybe even a little lost. I look forward to being home and seeing you again! Thank you for being a part of this beautiful journey.

Here is a blog called, “10 Ways You Can Help Your Racer With The Re-entry Process” by Britney Meyer. It’s stragely accurate to how I feel so I decided to share her post. I can’t wait to hear from you!!
