There’s this girl I know. She’s beautiful, smart, funny, kind, courageous, happy, selfless, and creative every second of every day and she never ever makes any mistakes…ever. Ha! Are you buying this? Me neither. Okay, so here’s the thing. The girl I’m referring to is me and the above statement is completely and utterly false. I may be these things some of the time, but certainly not all of the time, and trust me I have made plenty of mistakes over the years.

So, who am I? Well, I honestly don’t have an answer to that. At least not the deep, philosophical kind where I appear all in tune with myself while sitting in the middle of a meadow surrounded by fluttering butterflies and singing Kum Ba Yah. I may not know who I am at my core (at least not completely), but I know who I want to be. I want to be a good daughter, a patient friend, and a loving Christian. That’s partly what this World Race business is all about. Finding myself. Finding God. But I’ll get into all of that in my next post. For now, I’m going to give you the lighthearted, fluff answer.

Things I like: park benches, chalkboards, boys on swings, girls on skateboards, little kids with gapped teeth, record players, my three-legged cat, colorful artwork, accents, road trips, my family, campfires, roller derby, classic 90s TV shows, footprints, nerds (the candy and the men), the stars, singing in the car, and talking to God

Things I dislike: my hair, gossip, hiccups, my quirky sense of humor no one seems to get, going to the dentist, being introverted, spiders (rut roh Scooby-Doo!), awkward moments, country music, being the first to say I’m sorry, root beer, waiting in line on Black Friday, and hearing people blow their nose.

Well, as Porky Pig would say, that’s all folks! I think this is a pretty good start. If you would like to donate then please hit the support me button on the left side of the screen. Thanks for reading and God bless!
