Today is the first day in a while that I have just sat and remembered the promises from Papa!
I was cleaning my room and I felt Papa say “Adina Jesusa get up and remember” As I type this it brings me to tears because it’s so crazy to realize how I forgot.
Here is a little back story. April 20, 2013 I joined Elogeme Adolphi Christian Sorority Inc. what comes with this is you have a personal (Big) who prays and seeks Papa about a new name for you. Mine is Adina Jesusa “Gentle One Who Rescues Like God”.
I didn’t really know what that truly meant until literally just know November 2, 2018 at 8:52pm. I was thinking about the World Race and how this deadline is coming up and the fear that I might not reach it with an unexpected incident occurring yesterday.
Then I read this.
Before you were born you were created for this. As it reads in (Psalms 139: 13-14) “ For you created my inmost being; you knit me together in my mother’s womb. I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made; you works are wonderful, I know that full well.” God predestined you for this journey that He is allowing you to walk. He knew the task He would sit before you; and He ever so lovingly graced you with the power and wisdom to walk your destiny.
So of course I am in tears because the reality is no matter how much I tried to get in my own way. Papa has already given me the race to see this through. It goes on to say
Adina is Hebrew for Gentle. How God refers to you as gentle can be found in (Galatians 6:1) “Brothers, if anyone is caught in any transgression, you who are spiritual should restore him in a spirit of gentleness. Keep watch on yourself lest you too be tempted.” God wants you to gently do as in (Luke 4:18) and set the captives free. He knows because of your compassion for people and your want for nothing but His will for people; that you will do as He says and give Him all the Glory. Like in (1 Peter 3:15) when asked who is your hope, with gentleness and respect you will say that your hope is in God.
Further down it goes on to say
He calls you Jesusa, which is Hebrew for God Rescues. With how you are to rescue those who are in trouble, you have to have the heart of God. God has created you to do what is said in (Psalms 82: 3-4) “Give Justice to the poor and the orphan; uphold the rights of the oppressed and the destitute. Rescue the poor and helpless; deliver them from the grasp of evil people.” You will show people grace of God when rescuing like (2 Corinth 1:10) “And he did rescue us from mortal danger, and he will rescue us again. We have placed our confidence in him, and he will continue to rescue us.
Now go and begin your rescue mission.
Reading those words ever last one makes my heart burn with a love for Papa that I didn’t even know I had. See those words were nice to hear 5 years ago but to see that He has prepared and graced me to go to the nations and rescue any and everybody that cross my path. It maybe with a smile, a hug (which I’m learning to love), a simple conversation, a silent conversation, listening ear, a high five, even a little shimmy across the room. He has orchestrated for me to go and share his heart.
I want to ask that you help me share the love of Papa over the next 11 months. If you know someone I could connect send them my way. If you want to partner send me a message I would love to have a convo. Share this post, subscribe, and watch this journey unfold with me.
