2 Corinthians 9:8 says, “God will generously provide all you need. Then you will always have everything you need and plenty left over to share with others.”

I think that the hardest part of being a missionary is raising support to go onto the field. A year ago when I felt God calling me to YWAM Metro Detroit for their Discipleship Training School, I had raise $5,500 for the school and the outreach to Lesvos, Greece…in only 6 weeks! It seemed impossible, but MY GOD PROVIDES! I was able to raise my full support and received a great foundation for my future ministry during that 6 months.

When I returned from Detroit/Lesvos, God showed me that I was supposed to go to a Bible School in Minneapolis, MN next. And this time, I only had 4 weeks to apply, get accepted and raise $3,300 in support. By the time I heard back that I was accepted, I had 2 1/2 weeks to get fully funded. Wow!!! Now that seemed crazy impossible!  But MY GOD PROVIDES! In fact, God really blew my mind. Within 2 days, I already had 2/3 of my support. And the rest came in with plenty of time for me to get packed and arrive in time for 3 months of intensive bible study. It was great preparation for my future ministry.

While I was still in Minneapolis, God told me that I would be “traveling around the world with a group of people who I didn’t know yet.” I found that journal entry once I had arrived back home. Two days later, God woke up my mom in the middle of the night and said that He would show her this specific ministry if she got on the internet right then. That’s when we found out about the World Race. It’s a good thing that I already know that MY GOD PROVIDES because $19,300 seems like a lot of money. But God has proven Himself faithful! The first deadline was September 25th to have at least $5000 in support. I was so blessed by all of my wonderful supporters to have already raised over $7000 by then. I’m trusting God to continue to provide.

If He calls you, He will equip you!!!
