Hey Guys! Sorry its been so long since I've blogged; we don't have internet readily available here in Cornesti, Moldova! I get 20 min a week. I am going to try and fill y'all in so this blog might be a little lengthy.

My team is here with 2 other teams: Seed Sowers and Fire Starters. My Squad leaders have been with us but they left this morning. We are partnered with the (only) Evangelical church (non-orthodox) in Cornesti. I am staying at Veronica's with my girl Taryn. I might have to move soon though b/c she has cats, cats that like to attack us in the middle of the night. Three people are at another guy's house, four are at the pastor's house, and the rest are in the dorms at the church.

My normal day goes like this:

8:30-Breakfast

9-1:00- Ministry

1:00- Lunch

2-5:00- Kids program

6:00- Church/prayer service

8:00- Dinner

9:00- Team time/ Free time

Mondays are our days off (hence why this is getting posted today). For Ministry so far, my team and I have: weeded the garden, picked cucumbers, dug onions, handed out fliers, gone to visit poor people and babushkas (the elderly), and…*drumroll please* killed and plucked chickens!!! Yep that's right, Mom, I killed a chicken (with an ax) and plucked it. I got pictures of it and everything! I think Nanny would be so proud. I've also been effectively using the squatty-potty!

We also work with the kids program. I narrated David and Goliath the first day. It was cool. I got my first sunburn Friday while in the village trying to get some kids to come to the program. Its not too bad. Sunday the church went to an event featuring an American ex-boxer/weight lifter guy who got saved. It was an experience. I didn't really understand any of it but some of the townspeople that went got saved! We got to have a kind of free day the other day b/c it rained that morning. We ended up praying over each other for like 4 hours and I got to speak truth and prophecy over people. It was amazing. I like hearing God! My team did a “lies” session Saturday where we spoke out the lies that bind us and then spoke truth over each other: which means we all got weepy. It was awesome.

I have been eating food I normally wouldn't, including more fruit and veggies than I've eaten all year I think! Apricots are big here and they cause gas, big time. Its now a running joke. I have tan lines on my feet but I'm still pasty. I have been walking…a lot! I have to walk about 15 min to and from my house each day, plus walking to ministry. I am adjusting to the one shower a week thing. Braids are a wonderful invention.

Hopefully I will have more next time I write a blog. Love and miss you guys. I don't know when the next time I will be able to get on is so don't be alarmed if you don't hear from me for a while. OH! Found out I will be back in Romania next month working with Team WONDER (WootWoot!) at an orphanage. We will do construction in the morning and play with the kids in the afternoon. Don't worry, Emily, I plan to take notes! Ok, I think that's it.
