Ok, where to start? Well I guess I will explain why I wasn't online all of last week. My team decided to do an Internet fast. Our whole group has been getting attacked. I myself have been spiritually, emotionally, mentally, and physically attacked by Satan. I have been getting sick randomly. I have had seemingly no control over my emotions. I have been plagues by insecurities and homesickness. And I have suffered from what I like to call spiritual blah-ness. I didn't want to do ministry or even read my Bible. After a serious attack during a team prayer time, I decided I had finally had enough and broke down and told my team. I felt like I was seriously losing my mind. They spoke truth over me and prayed for me and I not had those issues better since. PTL! I decided that I want to be a Warrior. I want to heal people (emotionally and physically), cast out demons, prophesy over people, etc. If I am being attacked thsi hard, I can only take it to mean that the devil sees me as a threat and therefore I need to live up to that. I want to be a threat. I don't want to avoid confrontation anymore. I aim to displease the devil! Also, if you have not watched the movie Furious Love, DO IT!!! It is absolutely amazing!
I finished the book Radical (by David Platt). If you haven't read it then I suggest doing so (here is another book suggestion for you Bro. Jerry!) At the end of the book, he talks about the Radical Experiment. It is a year long experiment. It has five elements: Praying for the Entire World, Reading through the Entire Word, Sacrificing Money for a specific Purpose, Spending time in a different Context, and Committing to a Multiplying Community. The first three are pretty self-explainitory. The last two I will explain. Different Context means give 2% of your year (one week) to going to a different place and ministering. The last one is about getting involved with a Church that is trying to grow disciples. I am hitting both with the WR, but this is something that can be done where ever you are.
I wanted to share a little about our ministry opportunities. Throughout the week, we split up and cover many different ministries. We have a few that do ESL. We go to several different orphanages during the week. We do some slum ministry. We also do some prayer walking and Asking The Lord. The other day, we went to a Catholic home for the elderly. I met the coolest nun ever! Her name is Sister Esther and she speaks several different languages (including French) and uses then all in any given sentence. She talked about how when she lived in France, they couldn't outright tell people about God so she just basically killed then with kindness and her witness won hearts for God. She was a spitfire too.

One other thing I have gotten to do is go to a College group. We played games and hung out and stuff and it was amazing. There were two French-speaking guys there. One from the Ivory Cast and one from Congo. It was great getting to talk to them a little in French. Today, we got to sit in on the prophecy class of the Discipleship Training School that YWAM runs. It was so nice to get to practice on people and get much- needed words from the Lord.
Finally I just want to give some shout outs:
