So I realized I haven't blogged since we got here. I don't have a whole lot to report, but I will give you a run down of how things rolls here. This month is very laid back. We don't have a strict schedule. This past week some of us did construction in the mornings. Some of us did other things (like peel grilled eggplants, cleaned our room, etc). Next week I believe we are going to paint a fence. In the afternoons, from like 4-7, we usually play with some of the kids. We have gotten to know 2 of the families in the village here. We also went to the other village one day and played there. Some of the other girls in the group are trying to come up with a game plan with dealing with the chillins. Most days its just chaos. I got in (cough*started*cough) an epic water fight with some of the boys. I was drenched by the end of it but so were they. It was AWESOME! We did an ATL (Ask the Lord) day in the city center Friday. We handed out water and food to some gypsy kids. That's been it for ministry so far. We are planning some more stuff for next week since we won't be doing construction.
We have to cook our own food this month so the wonderful Katie (along with various helpers) has been planning amazing meals that are actually pretty healthy. I think I might have lost a little weight! Woot! We are making placinta this week so I am hoping to make a video of it and post it! It has been great getting to know all of the wonderful people on Team Wonder better. I found out where I am going to be in India next month and who we will be with but that team's leader hasn't told them yet so I won't post anything about it until they know. I don't want to ruin it for them. I *think* we are going to get to visit Dracula's castle before we leave Romania though. I am super excited about that!
Anyway, that about covers it for now. I am still working stuff out with the Lord, so I'll let you know if I have any breakthroughs.
Here are some pictures from this month so far. None of these are mine, they belong to either Mallory Martin, Katie Way, or Jessica Gasperin.
Here we are playing a hand-slap game. (no we aren't holding hands and singing Kumbayah, Jessica!)

This is Logan Brendel. He is on team Wonder.

I was very dizzy after this.
How do you relax after hard day? Dance party of course!

This our group this month (plus Logan Brock who is taking the pic)

Group outing after Church.
OK, I will hopefully post another blog in the near future which is more detailed. This will have to do for now though. ![]()
