I am now in NAKURU, KENYA!
Safely on the other side of the Nile River,
I am now in the land of Pride Rock from the Lion King.
And with the new country and the new ministry, I have a new team to live with and minister alongside.
Team HOLY GRAIL.
Our name–The Holy Grail–comes from the Medieval Times when the quest for the holy grail consumed many hearts and minds. This was an all-out pursuit for what was deemed the most valuable relic of all time.
Now, we take on the name The Holy Grail, to represent our great, relentless pursuit of the most valuable thing of all: God Himself! Also, this represents God’s relentless pursuit after us, and our pursuit of love after the lost of this world to bring them the message of the Good News of Jesus Christ.
Our place may be different, our team fellowship may be changed, but our purpose remains the same.
This month, our ministry includes helping build the roof of our host pastor’s church which has previously fallen in, door-to-door evangelism, preaching at a evangelical revivalist meeting, and following up with those we have met throughout the month.
