Last plane! Hopefully- I have been on five different planes this week, three states and four countries.
But i can honestly say that none of the chaos of this week can make me change my mind. Im moving forward in what God has called me to do. I left thursday September eighth from Gainesville, Georgia at three am for Atlanta, then went off to JFK where we were delayed and stayed for eleven hours. We arrived in Poland on Saturday September tenth (after poland we flew into Munich, Germany and from there arrived to our final destination- for the month that is, arrived to Bucharest, Romania) See if you know me, you would now that leaving the United States of America isn't something simple! Three years ago, this week I left the country for the first time I headed off to Sheffield, England. I was off to live out the dream that God gave me. The plan was to work with women that had life controlling issues and were in shelters. Well, that didn't happen! I was deported back to the states (left out a lot of details, but if you would like to know them email me).
Today I left the states and landed in Poland. Immediately, after getting off the plane I knew that It was time to take out my passport, my heart was beating one hundred miles an hour, hands fidgety. After a long walk I finally arrived at a little strange glass box. I kept looking through my paper work making sure I had everything in order. As I stood in line behind some of my world race family, time seemed to have been going by so slow! Suddenly This comes to mind "when God opens doors no man or thing can close them, divine."I walked up to this strange glass box, also know as "Polish passport contro" I said under my breath "here we go Abba" and In a matter of three seconds passport was stamped and I was let in to Europe! Just like that. All that for a few seconds. I was working myself up way more than I needed to be.
Then, I found out that my luggage was lost! That didn't change the joy, peace and affirmation I had from what God had just done! God is doing big things, nothing ordinary, something we have never seen before. He is stretching down his arms and heart and is ready to fulfill his promises! Nothing we do OR don't do can change His love for us! God remains faithful! The word says there is nothing on earth above or under that CAN separate us from Abbas love! His promises WILL come to be! Whoever you are reading this, know that when God says he is going to do something He will come through, maybe not on our timing but on his- which in reality is always the best time! When God starts something he finishes it! READY FOR ROMANIA MONTH 1! Jesus shine through us! Show me how to love like you love!
