For so long my life revolved around a false teaching. Since I was a little girl I was taught that i had to present myself in a certain way.That I had to speak and walk a certain way. I became you, I was whoever you wanted me to be, whoever you told me to be, I was okay with it as long as you wanted me…Â
NOW, I know that my Abba made me UNIQUE, DIFFERENT and BEAUTIFUL!
Years of hiding behind a curtain (MY HAIR) in fear of being judged and rejected. Through the years my Abba was cleaning and making me new. He was teaching me to be myself. He was making me the women of His dreams but I was so afraid to let her shine. I was afraid that if people met the new me there was a great chance of being hurt and scared all over again.
MY Abba told me that I am free to SHINE, that people will see my heart and seek Him because of it. He protects and guards my heart. So here I am as a sign of FREEDOM, CHANGE, GROWTH, ACCEPTANCE, LOVE, PATIENCE, PURITY, I cut my hair as an act of worship to my Abba!
Some never stop learning,
Growing, becoming And some never start!
