I was scrubbing tires on a cow farm, when she walked up to me and just starred at me. She didn't say a word, just looked at me. After we look at each other for a few moments she says " you should go to the "Sunflower shop" (this is where she works as a seamstress making souvenirs for the orphanage) after, Ety just walked away and I returned to scrubbing the tire in front of me.
Later on that day me being the curious person that I am, I walked into a building here on Caminul Felix property and discovered that it was where Ety worked. It wasn't long before we were hugging each other.
Etyela and her twin sister were abandoned at the age of three, this is when she arrived at Caminul Felix Orphanage- The Happy Home. Ety suffered (take note on the past tense) from Depression, anxiety, and other life controlling issues.
Etyela from Romania, 22 years old.
I asked Ety what her dreams were- I was expecting to hear what everyone else would say in her shoes, to go to America and make money. NOP! This is what she said, "I want to be a leader and I want to translate". simple words. I know, I thought the same thing.
After a week with her, Abba said it was time for her to begin living out her dream. I went to a near by gypsy village and took her with me. As we were walking in to the village, Ety held my hand- sweaty hand. Ety asked, "can you pray for me, I'm very nervous". She learned how to anoint herself with oil that day and realized that God wanted to use her. There , Ety Translated for me as I prayed for families, prayed for healing, gave away medicine, shared my testimony and the bible. There were even times when Ety would be lead by the Holy Spirit to pray and minister with authority to families, especially men. I saw this young lady be transformed from a caterpillar to a butterfly right before my eyes.
