Please just take a minute to STOP…and read. This next sentence is truth:

The same God that uses me and has shown up in incredible ways around the world this year, is that same God that you serve…the same God that has huge plans for your life.

If you are reading this you have the incredible ability to spread the love of Christ. You have the same call from Matthew 28 of making disciples of all nations and teaching them to obey everything that he has commanded us. You have the same calling on your life…to be a living testimony of God’s grace each and every day, no matter what country or city you are living in.

Yes, I have seen God move this year in ways I never saw before. I have seen limbs grow, food multiplied, witchdoctors come to know Christ, gang members accept Jesus as their savior and countless other stories of the Holy Spirit moving in absolutely mind blowing ways. I also know that these are not limited to a country or situation…these events have the ability to happen ANYWHERE in this world.

Do you find yourself following my journey this year, or any journey of any World Racer out there, and have had these thoughts in your head?

–       I wish I could do something like that.

–       If only I saw God work like that in my life.

–       They must really be anointed or called by God

Maybe this is you, maybe it’s not.

If you do have these feelings STOP believing the lie that the powerful things God is doing through and in World Racers can’t also occur in your life.

Your mission field may be the orphanages of East Africa, or it may be an office building lined with cubicles. It may be your own family members. Every single day you wake up and enter a mission field, that is a simple truth.

It is something I have lost sight of during times of my life. Glorifying in my mind what being a ‘missionary’ is, hearing stories of God showing up in phenomenal ways around the world. Wishing for those things to happen in my daily life but never asking the Lord to show up in that way.  I HAVE BEEN THERE BEFORE.

I hope you pray for the impossible. Dream beyond what you think is feasible. Ask God for your deepest desires in life. Live with a contagious passion for the Lord that doesn’t leave a single area of your life unaffected. Your relationships, your job, your daily routine should all bring glory to God.

Don’t get me wrong…I pray that my World Race encourages you and uplifts you. I pray that it is a testimony to the power of our Savior, in the way he has molded my life and radically changed the lives of people all over the world.

I pray that God starts to reveal himself in ways that are outside of your routine. Stories from our ‘mission field’ start to become stories from your ‘mission field’ back in America.

You are filled with the same Holy Spirit that shows up in Mozambique, Guatemala and Thailand. We World Racers are the same broken people you are, drowning in an ocean of grace. These incredible stories you read, ones of miracles and redemption, of extreme moments of faith…they are meant for your life as well. On a daily basis.

So as you finish this blog and return to your day, I remind you again that we serve the same God…one that will show up in incredible moments with incredible power.

My World Race is a testament to God’s grace and glory, not an individual or organization. Find encouragement in who Jesus Christ is and I pray to hear stories from all of your ‘mission fields’ for years to come!
