First time in Africa! We are staying at an old YWAM base in
Mbita, Kenya right along Lake Victoria. We’re working with an organization
called SEEK whose goal is to help the community by teaching them how to use
their environment to live. We get to work on the property in the garden,
kitchen and grounds. We are also getting out into the community doing beach
ministry, hospital ministry, and preaching in churches on Sundays. The people
here are very friendly and more than welcoming to us: quite different than
China.
The internet is not good in Africa I hear, and it’s
definitely not good here. I’m sorry mom for not being in touch, but I’m doing
the best that I can. I hope you’re enjoying icy, cold Colorado. Don’t worry, I’m working hard to keep my tan.
