The life of a child is so much easier than a grown ups, whatever that means. You can run in the rain, play in the mud, and you can be a princess with only a stick for a toy.
God calls us to live like children and never worry if there will be food at dinner or gas in the gas tank. And how often do we worry about those little things when we say we have faith that God will provide. The Bible also says when you give, that God will bless that. So how many of you out there are willing to give and have complete faith that God is going to give it back? If you had that faith you would keep giving, knowing it would come back to you. Why do we also want the next big thing? Why do we always want the new edition? Why can’t we just be princesses with a stick for a wand?
Working in Malaybalay, I really got a good look at what it means to live with child like faith. The kids at the Children’s Home have lived with more fear and hurt in their few years than I have in my whole life. Those kids do not have the newest or the best but yet it is rare for them not to be laughing uncontrollably when you walk in the door. When someone new walks into the door, all they want is to show love and be loved. But yet so often the first time someone walks into our door all we do is judge them. Where is God calling you to have child like faith in your walk today? I encourage you to walk in it today. Ask God to rock your world. Don’t put him in a box. He’ll never fit in it, if you believe in the same God I do.
The teams are going out to shake some more gates. I wont be in touch for the next few weeks. I love you all. Please keep commenting on my blog, I love reading them. Until next time, ask God to rock your world! Amen.
