Love is sought-after, longed for, needed, wanted, desired,
yearned for. Everyone wants to be loved. From the businessmen to the homeless,
everyone is searching for a loving acceptance. How has love become such a
rarity?

Speaking for myself, I spent far
too much time seeking love under the wrong foundation. I looked to tangible
things to fulfill the innate need. I found instant satisfaction in the
tangible. The loving satisfaction was there in an instant and gone in the next.
I bounced from one thing to another looking to be loved, always left with a
deeper desire.

“Love is patient, love is kind,
love is not arrogant and does not seek its own. Love never fails (rephrased 1
Corinthians 13:4-8)”…. God loves me… God loves me… GOD LOVES ME! Nothing on this earth loves me the way God does! Revelation took place.

Now, the Author of all things has given us an unfathomable
love to live by. We know the kind of love the world is looking for, the love of
the Father. A disparity of love is upon us though. Just as I was seeking, He
found me. There are others seeking an unending love. I can, you can, WE can bridge this emotional gap through
the power of His love.

Call me crazy, but I am founded in “Thy Kingdom come, Thy
will be done ON EARTH AS IT IS IN HEAVEN.” Paul puts it as “the whole Law is
fulfilled in one word, in the statement, ‘you shall love your neighbor
as yourself’ (Galatians 5:14)” The world would resemble Heaven a bit more
if we loved like our Creator says in His perfect will.

Jesus says that faith
can move mountains according to Mark 11:22. Paul later says that “we have been
given these; faith, hope, and love. But the greatest of these is love (1 Corinthians 13:13).” If faith
can literally move mountains, what can love do?
