I’m Daniel Pedron from Collierville, TN which is located just outside of Memphis. Jesus Christ is my first passion in life, but hunting is a close second. When I’m in the woods hunting and it’s peaceful and quiet all around me, those are the times I feel the closest to God. Hunting and fishing are a big part of my life, the best hunt I ever experienced was when I caught my first alligator (a 9 footer), around midnight in the deep dark Mississippi swamps, unbelievable experience! I have two brothers, my little brother Michael is 20, and my older brother Jordan is 28. We grew up always competing against each other in everything we did, so all 3 of us are naturally very competitive. I was raised in a Christian home, and have personally known the Lord for over 20 years, throughout my late teenage years and into my early 20’s I didn’t grow much spiritually, just stayed luke-warm at best. I neglected to build upon the most important relationship I could ever have, that’s the one with our heavenly father. After years of trying to do things my way without much “outside” help, I finally gave up and surrendered everything to my Father. I told him I am done trying to do things my way, I’m done putting my wants and will ahead of yours, and most of all I am DONE living a luke-warm Christian life-style. I am ready to lay hands on the sick, heal the blind, even raise the dead! We as Christians are commanded to do these things, we are meant to leave our comfort zone and do the works that Jesus did through the Holy Spirit. John 14:12 says “Truly, truly, I say to you, he who believes in Me, the works that I do, he will do also; and greater works than these he will do; because I go to the Father.” I finally got to a point in my life where I couldn’t be satisfied anymore with the regular Christian life style that many of us in the western world live, we go to church once a week, sing some songs that make us feel good, but we never truly experience the riches and power of the Holy Spirit, we never really experience God. I refuse to put God in a box and not let him show me all of his glory and power! That’s why I am stepping out of my comfort zone, leaving my world behind, and letting God lead me through this amazing journey where I can focus on knowing him better, loving those around me, and spreading the love of Jesus throughout the world!
