LOL i have been wanting to write a blog with this title for a while, yay now i can.  Cambodia You Stole my heart.  Our time in Phnom Penh was breathtaking.  I havnt been able to put in words what the lord is doing there, although ministry looked very simple it was really foundation work being done in preparation for KINGDOM.  I consider the kids there logs of Wood ready to be crafted into works of art by and for christ, and also being steady soaked in his essence(which is more combustible than any fuel i know of)  I felt like we were striking flint whit our presence there.  Waiting for flames to ctach, and it will.  We spent our new years in a small village an hour outside town.  I dont think it could of been a better way to bring in the new year.  Through out the month we continued teaching english and hygene, and creating relationships with the kids and the locals.  I even felt called to shave my beard that i had been growing for about 7-8 months, lol sometimes it doesnt make sense when we hear his words, but that shouldnt be something that keeps you from acting.  SO here in Cambodia we ran into an old friend.  Mr Corruption> We had a introduction back in Ukraine, i think i wrote about it in a blog Called “Po po’s be Hatin ”   But here in Cambodia it was just ridiculous.  What was worse  is they use U.S. currency as well as the Cambodian Riel.  It seemd that the whole country was money hungry.  So i thought it would put a damper on my feeling there But God gave me peace.  He inspired my heart to look beyond all that and see the real issue of truley needing real treasures.  In order for taxis cabs to enter the city they would openly pay cops who set up money road blocks.  The idea i had was to write verses on the money so that they would maybe look more into it.  I prayed  that the cops would be affected by this notion.  But it goes deeper than just cops, the Govt has priorities out of order.  So i quote Lil Wheezy- Da Money Is da Motive ….Biggie- Mo money more problems… and J.C. But lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven.
I was told a story about the Beef with Cambodia and Thailand,  way back when there was trouble with the two countries.  So as the story goes briefly the two were at war, Cambodia began to build huge walls of bamboo stalks.  I worked a bit with bamboo and it by itself is not fun to work with so i would imagine trying to get through a 10-15 thick wall would take some time.  So they had this wall that served well, Thailand however knew that the people in cambodia were in need of more food, they were somewhat starving and poor.  Thailand sent spies into cambodia who lived there and satyed for a while.  When the time was right they began stuffing Riel deep into the Wall.  they placed the money in all the week areas.  Cambodia forgot what was at stake and thier eyes were fixed on this stronghold.  Thailand sat back and watched as the Khmer tore down thier own wall from the inside out.
When i hurd this story i new that this corruption was a stronghold that has been plaguing Generations.   But there is a generation waiting to break this i can feel it.  Soaking in his presence and waiting to spread like a while fire.  I Cant wait to go back to the village and surrounding villages with my own words from God. My cambodian is getting better and better each day.  Praying for you brothers and sisters that i miss every day.
