Team G.L.O.W.

So i have been meaning to put this Blog up for a good minute but have not had the time. My team means so much to me so i wanted to make sure that they get the attention they desrve and that the Blog is written correctly.  I am so Blessed to have my team.  We are a group of Six: We Are Team GLOW ( Gods Light Over the World)

“You are the light of the world. A city
on a hill cannot be hidden. Neither do people light a lamp and put it
under a bowl. Instead they put it on its stand, and it gives light to
everyone in the house. In the same way, let your light shine before
men, that they may see your good deeds and praise your Father in
heaven.”

 

There is a funny story how we came up with the name G.L.O.W. followed by what i think is an awesome end  leading to how the name came to be who we wanted to be know As ,  While at training camp we were asked to “as a new TEAM” go into Georgia and make a memory, we decided to make the best of our time and head to the local Target, we had no idea what we were doing.  Like most groups  we hit up the snack isle and filled up with awesome goodies fruit roll ups, cliff bars, chips the works everything we had been deprived of lol.  While geting closer to the end of our shopping spree we found our self in the 4th of july seciton, theres were books, plates, flags, slip and slides the usual things that would be found in this area.  and someone grabed these awesome Glow sticks (that we ended up buying and using for our team intoduction).  It is brought up that the Acronym for GLOW is Gods Light Over the World. … Wow that is greatness we all decided. The next couple of days are filled with scripture being poured into what the name means to us.  The team got to hang out the next couple days, and it was then i realized the name was a gift from God.  We truely are the light of the world, we all have a purpose, a gift that we will get to soon share with the WORLD. 

 

1 Corinthians 6-8   ⁶We do, however, speak a
message of wisdom among the mature, but not the wisdom of this age or
of the rulers of this age, who are coming to nothing. ⁷No, we speak of God’s secret wisdom, a wisdom that has been hidden and that God destined for our glory before time began. ⁸None of the rulers of this age understood it, for if they had, they would not have crucified the Lord of glory.

Basically we are a team with this mentallity, We hear a whisper that screams to us SPEAK THE TRUTH,  maybe it was the 3 hour worship services, the signal bars we had with GOD in the middle of nowhere  that led us into the HEART of ATLANTA to find spiritual TXT messages.  We all feel that we are filled with thie spirit and that we could fill a dark room with more light thatn the sun.  This is Our Light, Our Gifts, Our way to show Chirst to the Nations. And so we are Gods Light Over the World.
