I have arrived in Bangkok Thailand. We left Africa early in the morning around 9 from Kenya. OUr Squad Debrief went great. It was good to catch up with some folks that i hadnt seen. We stayed super busy the entire time. There was good transistion time as well, I Now have a new team. Team Wellspring was a great season of learning and loving that team, but the lord has me now working on aanother chapter of this crazy trip. So before i let you know the dealio, I now intorduce you to my new team. Team Dove. Along with this new wonderful team i aquired a new position and get to utilize a gift god has given me. I am no longer in Team leader position, we have made way for new up and coming leaders on the squad. This is a great point in the race to build up others and let them step into thier role in life. What God showed me in this is that i dont need a position to Lead. a Leader is a person fo influence. So i take my new role with great stride. I feel that i will be able to truely home into my skills. The title encourger has been on my heart the past couple weeks. and not just in my WR life. I feel a need to take more responibilty in encouraging all who are in my life. So I feel this will be a season to step into that. Oh and maybe also Healing. I am going through that myself as i scuffle with shapening iron and begin to shed away weak Iron.
So from Kenya we flew to Qatar, which I dont really know where it is, I had the chance to meet a lady in Qatar in a smoking room. She was 50 years old and just came from a techno confrence. she was the coolest lady, we started talking because of stretched ears and seagull tattoo on her wrist. She definetly brightemed my day. it had been a long airplane ride and was gonna be another long one. Nothing like the bus rides we had been on but still gonna be a tuffy. She was a gift from god i feel because our very basic talk about nothing and everything gave me more hope. I am looking forward to the relationships that i will be given in Asia. She also lives in Istanbul and offered a place to stay if i ever go. She was a gift. From Qatar we started our 5 hour flight to Bangkok this wasnt to bad, our flight left at 20:05, so the only problem here is the time difference. while we arrived at 3-4 in the morning it was sunny and 8 in the Am there. i didnt sleep much on the plane, they had House on call mine and Woodys favorite tv show. oh and video games and 3 meals. oh and the meals of all those around me that werent hungry 🙂 I love traveling next to people who dont eat much. Food is kinda mah Food Language. So we have arived to Bangkok and it hasnt settled in yet. first thing we did after the 20 minute buse ride to our temporary sopt was sleep. it took all but 2 seconds to pass out. i awoke with all my brothers and we went out to the market and had some ligit market food. OMG i love you! So here is the deal with my new position of being a normy, i have taken upon myself of know very little. I perfer to be kept out of planning and logistics,yay. So i dont know where we are going just yet, and dont care. but i am looking forward to ministering in any way god wants to me.
So here is the deal for this month… IT IS MANistry!!!!!! The Men of O squad break away form our sister this month and get to minister seperate. I dont even know what this is gonna look like except awesomeness. We all have our beards ready, and are grunting like crazy. First rule about man club is you do not talk about Man Club lol. after Thailand Manistry we will be returning to our respected ladies. My new team mate Jerimiah Reynolds aka Pale-face and i will return to our new team Team Dove. our Team leader is Carin Cowndin(canadian 🙂 Marry hollis, rachelle Uriba, Sara Hogan, so be praying that we use our time away from each other effectivly, safe travels, and a good re-uniting.
PRAISE REPORT!! I have a new Fund Goal that i am so Blessed to be sharing with you. First thank you to all those who have donated and opened your hearts to God, letting him lead is the greatest blessing. New goal is roughly $500 (five hundred dollars) i have a good amount of monthly supporters who are dedicating the next five months to support.
