I DON’T HAVE WHAT IT TAKES!!!

So these are the kind of thoughts going through my mind this past week as I’d pray periodically through out the day. But I know that each one of my teammates and anyone who has ever had to raise support in their lifetime can relate to the craziness that goes on in your head!

If you don’t already know, this World Race that I’m going on costs money. $16,561.00 to be exact. That’s a big number for this guy. Numbers like this scare the crud out of me to be completely honest with you! Thankfully it is not a big number to God! All of the gear I need for this 11 month trip is payed for out of my pocket. That big number I just mentioned is only covering the essential costs of making this kind of a trip happen. As I look through what gear I still need (2 person tent, shoes, sleeping bag, and some other accessories.), it starts to add up quick! On top of that, an unknown medical bill from when I dislocated my knee a little while ago (Oh yeah, forgot to mention that happened. haha God is good and it’s all ok now!) came in the mail. More money to pay that I thought I’d already paid. I was starting to see all that I had slowly disappear. But God, once again, is patiently at work in it all. I called the doctor’s office today to find out why I was still being charged/pay the bill, and they said that there was no more money that I owed. It just all disappeared! Right after I hung up, God was saying, “Chill dude! I’m fully aware of your situation and will take care of it!” That was a weird and really good phone call! haha!

So now that I’ve calmed down, I’m moving forward. As daunting as all of this can be at times, I know God is at work. I would love nothing more than if you all would prayerfully consider being apart of what God is doing! I need a support team and want you to be apart of that! My first financial goal that I have to meet is $5,000.00 by July 22nd! You can give towards that by either giving a monthly commitment or a one time financial gift! There’s a big DONATE button towards the top of my homepage on this blog site with the progress shown of where my financial support is as of right now. I cannot express enough how much this helps! (If you have any questions at all, please contact me through the CONTACT link on the left of my homepage. OR any other way that you may already now how to get a hold of me!)

Some of you reading this may already be giving or already gave. THANK YOU SO MUCH! Knowing each and every one of you who are behind me on this is an amazing feeling! If there’s more you’d like to do, please share what I am doing to all of your friends who might be interested in being apart of this! The more this gets out, the more God can use this journey I am on to reach out to and bless other people! You can do that however you want, whether that’s sharing this blog post, sharing my whole blog page, or just reaching out to people and giving them my contact info in case they’d like to know more! You’d be surprised how much this helps!

I plan to keep you all up to date on every major step of my approach to the World Race and even more so all throughout it! Lord willing I’ll be posting videos and pics of all that’s happening as I move forward. Please subscribe to this blog so you know every time I update y’all on what’s happening! And may the sovereign God of the universe bless you and keep you today! Love you all!
