Well, It’s been roughly 3 1/2 months since I’ve announced my pursuit of the World Race! I feel like it’s been so much longer because God has done a lot in those few months.
God has brought me to Colorado,
Dislocated my knee,
Healed my knee,
Rekindled old friendships,
Provided new ones,
Met my teammates for this race (as I continue to do),
Provided time and time again for me financially to continue to live out here,
and NOW….
We’ve raise over $5,000 towards funding my missions trip around the world!!!!!!
Oh my gosh guys! I have no words… You have given in some amazing ways and I am so incredibly thankful for that! I have seen some amazing friends truly show me what it means to give until it hurts. The fact that God has allowed me to be on the receiving end of that is crazy!! I have an amazing support team and I love each and every one of you who have given towards this ministry!
You guys, earlier this past week I was coming home from Wisconsin while I was at a friend’s wedding (Shout-out to Mr. and Mrs. Boeckers!!!!), and halfway home my truck tapped out on me for a couple days. I had to get it towed into a shop so it could get fixed and was feeling discouraged. I had work to get back to and not much money in the bank, so getting my truck fixed wasn’t what I had in mind to start off this week! But God used my extended trip to encourage and bless me!
So now that you know what MY perspective was, here’s what GOD was actually doing! I suddenly had more down time, so I was able to meet one of my teammates, Jillian Moya! That was awesome and encouraging to finally meet in person one of the amazing people I’m going to be spending a lot of time with in ministry overseas! After that, God used the mechanics to not only fix the immediate problem on my truck, but a few other things that needed work as well. When I picked it up, they didn’t charge me for the extra services! In the midst of all of that, God brought in a ton of support through you guys that pushed me over my first financial goal of $5,000 by July 22nd!
I would like to take this moment to recognize a few folks!
God, first of all, for ALWAYS providing for me what I need in spite of my moments of distrust and shortcomings!
Jillian for being so encouraging and for having such a passion for missions and the ways God has prepared her for whats ahead! (Seriously, go check her blog out! You can find her and other amazing World Racers under the Meet My Squad: Route 3 (Oct. ’16) link to the left!)
And finally I want to give a shout out to the anonymous supporters who gave $1,000 each towards funding me!!! God has clearly laid on your heart the need to serve in this amazing, selfless way and I can’t thank you enough!!! Scripture calls us to give until it hurts, and Jesus shows us that everything given to us by God is not just for ourselves but for God’s glory and to be used for the service of others. This is one of the fundamental functions of the Church. Whoever gave as much as they did understands this, and your humility will be exalted by God!
This really all goes out to my support team. I wouldn’t be where I am today if you all hadn’t listened to God asking you to give and serve in the ways that you have.

Well folks, our work has really just begun and my next financial goal to be met is $10,000 by September 16th. Once I reach $10,000 I am funded enough to leave in October with the rest of my teammates and $6,000 away from being fully funded for the rest of the trip. Please continue to spread the word about this ministry. As I work more and more to raise support I am quickly exhausting all of the contacts and relationships that I have on my own. Very soon I will need to reach outside my circles of friends and family and try reaching out to strangers. You can be a huge help by telling other people and church’s about what I am doing and how they too can be a huge part of changing the lives God will use me and my teammates to reach out to!
God is using YOU to bring to fruition a ministry that will reach a lot of lives that need help and salvation! YOU are the backbone of this ministry and the change it will bring about all over the world.
