God Is Good!
Thank you all for your prayers and support! Training Camp has ended and has definitely prepared/changed my life for the better!
As I reflect on the past 10 days, I am so thankful, but now that I’m back I feel restless. I don’t feel like I’m home. To be honest my heart hasn’t really come back from camp. My heart is with the people who I’ll be leaving with very soon. My heart has already left overseas to all of the places and people I have yet to see. It’s starting to get hard to still be here after all of the anticipation of meeting my teammates and the task ahead. God truly has called each of us to this mission field so fully that thinking about NOT being there already hurts.
We Made It!!!
God used Training Camp to draw us all very quickly to a deep place of vulnerability with each other. As a result we learned to trust each other very quick. Our Squad of 40+ is big but a very close knit group who would do anything for one another.

This is right before our “3 miles in 50 minutes” hike. God is good and everyone passed this physical test with flying colors. We couldn’t have been more relieved or excited for each other when we all finished strong!
We also got to meet our Squad Mentor and 3 Squad Leaders who are World Race Alumni who will be coming with our teams to help us get the hang of how our teams will function and travel around from country to country and ministry to ministry. They’re fantastic and, like me, love to dance their hearts out!
Aren’t they fabulous folks!?!?!

I can’t get through this post without shouting out to all the men of O Squad! We all took a 12 mile hike with our gear up the Appalachian Mountains. We camped out for some man to man fun and fellowship to prep for our mission together. Below is our guys and some leaders/O squad coach minus one of our members. He unfortunately couldn’t make the hike due to an unfortunate injury.

With that being said, I really do appreciate everyone’s prayers over the whole trip. God answered every single one of them. And while we did have two members of our team who were injured during camp, God used they’re injuries in powerful ways to bring a unity to our squad that we would not have experienced otherwise. To learn to serve and be served in a whole new way. So shout out to Daniel White and Jordan Wilson as well as continued prayers over they’re feet/ankles for healing and increased strength as we prepare to leave in 6 weeks!

Here’s Jordan as we were all at the Atlanta Airport getting ready to leave from Training Camp! This is just a hint of the amazing attitude that our injured few had all through out the last 10 days!
So within our squad we all found out who our teams where that we will be doing ministry with more closely for the first few months of the race. Instead of 40+ people showing up to one ministry site in each country we break up into smaller teams of 6-7 and spread out to cover more ground and serve more ministries and communities. I can’t say enough good things about our team! In the midst of our differences we have come together to make a strong team who is completely excited for what’s ahead! Here they are!!

Laura, Keaton, Jordan, Julia, Jonathan, Elizabeth, and myself kneeling in the middle. I love these people dearly and this is where my heart is. With this team.
All in all God has brought many things to our squad and teams:
Trust,
Redemption,
Healing,
Unity,
Love,
Commitment,
Passion,
and Abandon!
I am getting the opportunity to serve with these brothers and sisters in Christ and I hope that you will grow to love each of them like I do as you get to know them through our journey. In your support of me, you are supporting what our team is doing. Please be a part of my team and squad as we go out into the nations.

THANK YOU!! from O Squad A.K.A. The Wolf Pack and God Bless!!
-Daniel
