Jeremiah 29:10-14
10
This is what the Lord says: “When seventy years are completed for Babylon, I will come to you and fulfill my good promise to bring you back to this place.
11 For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future. 12 Then you will call on me and come and pray to me, and I will listen to you. 13 You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart. 14 I will be found by you,” declares the Lord, “and will bring you back from captivity.[b] I will gather you from all the nations and places where I have banished you,” declares the Lord, “and will bring you back to the place from which I carried you into exile

We must always go to the word of the Lord. The devil will try his best to steal our joy when God has spoken into our life. The word shows that sometimes it takes, seconds, minutes, hours, days, weeks, months, years, decades, or centuries for the Lord to fulfill His word. No matter how long it takes God has always been faithful. When we get in a rut, it's the word that gives us energy to pull through. When the devil says you won't make it, it is the word that draws us ever nearer to a perfect peace, and a wisdom that surpasses all understanding.  I must admit, there are times when I feel that I won't be able to raise 15,500 dollars.  Especially when I have never asked a group of people for that amount of money in the past.  The devil attempts to tell me daily that I am not worth this much money and who in their right mind would support me. As quickly as the thoughts come in I go to the Lord in prayer and to His word. I also reflect on what the Lord has already brought me through. I can say this much, when you make up your mind to live for the Lord, the devil will make up his mind to be a stumbling block, ever present on your journey. I have learned that you must train yourself to remember that God is faithful and His Son Jesus Christ already defeated the devil. By no means is it easy, but each day we become stronger when we ignore the lies of the devil.  I am patiently waiting for God to show Himself once again ever faithful in my endeavors inspired by His Holy Spirit.  Many of you know I'm not waiting around for a miracle to find me, I'm out looking for it, expecting it.  Within the next week and a half all my letter will be out to those who have sent me their address.  I'm expecting big things from God, and I know faith without works is dead. I'm also sending out letters to corporations who might sponsor me. I'm going to use every tool I have at my disposal to complete this good work the Lord has selected me for.  It wasn't easy for Nehemiah to complete the reconstruction of the temple, and It wasn't easy for Moses to ask the people to give up their precious jewelry, but they did it with the Lord's help.  With God on my side I will win, and though my trials I know I will be a blessing to many. #livewell

ISAIAH 40:21-31
21 Do you not know?
Have you not heard?
Has it not been told you from the beginning?
Have you not understood since the earth was founded?
22 He sits enthroned above the circle of the earth,
and its people are like grasshoppers.
He stretches out the heavens like a canopy,
and spreads them out like a tent to live in.
23 He brings princes to naught
and reduces the rulers of this world to nothing.
24 No sooner are they planted,
no sooner are they sown,
no sooner do they take root in the ground,
than he blows on them and they wither,
and a whirlwind sweeps them away like chaff.

25 “To whom will you compare me?
Or who is my equal?” says the Holy One.
26 Lift up your eyes and look to the heavens:
Who created all these?
He who brings out the starry host one by one
and calls forth each of them by name.
Because of his great power and mighty strength,
not one of them is missing.

27 Why do you complain, Jacob?
Why do you say, Israel,
“My way is hidden from the Lord;
my cause is disregarded by my God”?
28 Do you not know?
Have you not heard?
The Lord is the everlasting God,
the Creator of the ends of the earth.
He will not grow tired or weary,
and his understanding no one can fathom.
29 He gives strength to the weary
and increases the power of the weak.
30 Even youths grow tired and weary,
and young men stumble and fall;
31 but those who hope in the Lord
will renew their strength.
They will soar on wings like eagles;
they will run and not grow weary,
they will walk and not be faint.
