So where in the world would you like to go? Turns out that is a very important
question when talking to people about missions. A few don’t care but most have a certain place in mind. The great thing about Adventures In
Missions (AIM) is we go all over the place and we set it all up for you. It my job to find these people.
(Emily and me at Atlanta Fest)
This past weekend I was able to go to Atlanta Fest with the
Marketing Team to promote and recruit for AIM. We had a great time. We were able to talk to a lot of people that were there to enjoy the
concerts and speakers about going on a trip. We talked to a wide range of people. Youth Pastors that did not have the
time or knowledge of setting up a trip, families that wanted to go together,
and high school students to young adults that were willing and wanting to
go.
(Emily ready to help any future missionaries)
The truth is that even though The World Race might be the
most talked about trip that we have at AIM it is not the largest. Last year we sent out about 500 on the
World Race but we sent out over 5,000 on short-term missions.
(Sound Check)
I started
working at AIM last month at The World Race training camp. Within that group is the 100,000
missionary that AIM will send out in their history. The three groups will leave the country to go all over the
world in two weeks.
(LeCrae warming up the crowd)
I cannot tell how blessed I am to work for AIM. I get to travel around the country talking
to people about going on a mission trip. The best part is that most want to go but do not know how to even get
started.
(Building 429 leading some worship)
I ask that you would keep all of our teams in your
prayers. Summers are very busy for
us as we have a lot of people out on
the field right now. Please pray
as I travel to Creation Fest in PA this week to promote and recruit for AIM, that God would open up doors for more people to go. Pray that financial support would continue
to come in. Thank you all again
for loving me and supporting me on God’s journey for my life.
