10 Things to know for Training Camp

1.       Be
prepared for God to show up in big ways. (This may scare some of you.)

2.       Be
open to strange new things and everyday surprises.

3.       Get
ready to meet awesome new people. (Don’t
be afraid to venture out of your comfort zone.)

4.       Bring
clothes for all types of weather. (50
degrees in the morning, 80 in the afternoon, 40 at night)

5.       Bring
all your gear. (You will be sleeping in
your tent with sleeping bag and need your pack.)

6.       Enjoy
the outdoors. (This place is
amazing. The first morning I went to the
lake and saw the mist rising up from the lake then I looked over to the woods
and saw two deer.)

7.       Bring
healthy snacks. (The food here is great
and different but you are being prepared for The World Race so a little beef
jerky can help in those hunger attacks.)

8.       Get
ready for 7am workouts. (These are a lot
of fun with your teammates if you allow them to be. So toughen up for a week.)

9.       You
will have free time so bring some toys to play with. Frisbee, football, etc. (Great way to meet new people have a lot of
fun.)

10.   Earplugs
for light sleepers. (You are in tents
with thin walls so you can hear a lot of new sounds. Plus you will most likely set up your tent
next to the loudest snorer ever so its good to be prepared.)

I
hope that this helps future races. If
you still have questions feel free to ask. Great ready for your world to change
