Like the Amazing Race?!

Kind of, but not quite.

Beginning in January 2012 I will be participating on the WORLD RACE: an 11 month Christian, missions trip to 11 different countries around the world. A little bit insane hey?

On the WR myself and a team of 5 or 6 others will serve in partnership with churches and people in local communities to teach others about God, minister to those in the human trafficking industry, work in orphanages, run day camps, do construction, build relationships with orphans and pray for the sick at hospitals.

In order to participate on the World Race I MUST RAISE $15,500 which covers all my expenses while on the field. This includes meals, lodging, air, land, and sea travel, administrative costs, set-up costs, coaching costs, debriefing costs, and training camp costs (excluding flights). Additionally I can raise money to cover the cost of my flight to and from our departure city, a round trip flight for training camp in October 2011, medical insurance, gear and vaccinations.

Right now that seems like a HUGE and daunting number which is why I am asking for your HELP! If you are able to support me financially, donations can be given as a one-time gift or as monthly occurrence and are TAX DEDUCTIBLE.

JUST THINK: If 43 people pledge $30 a month for 12 months, I would have 100 percent of the funds necessary for my trip!

Click here to support me and make an online donation by CREDIT CARD. You can also write a cheque payable to Adventures In Missions and mail the donation to Adventures In Missions, PO Box 534470, Atlanta, GA, 30353-4470.

**Please make sure to include my full name (Dania Spillett) in the memo line on any cheques so the money is properly allocated to me.

If you can't afford to support me financially I appreciate your thoughts and prayers as well.  I would also love if you subscribe to this blog and read about my UPDATES and STORIES over the next year and a half!
