Angela and Robert de Abreu are an amazing couple we met the other day.
Angela is Brazilian and has been in South Africa for 7 years, here she met Robert, born in South Africa but from Portuguese parents. Now they are both involved in spreading the Kingdom of God, in different ways.
Angela is from Sao Paulo, where she met Christ after searching for God in different religions. She had a beautiful encounter with Christ and felt led to leave the country and do missions work, after dreams of African children. However that wasn't an easy process; it took quite some time to leave.
She finally made her way to South Africa where started working with children's program in the townships of Cape Town. Since then she worked in two organizations going doing door to door, working at care centers and connecting through soccer. Basically she did everything that would bring His love to the people of South Africa.
She worked for African Leadership and Ambassadors in sport before feeling led to leave and start Africa Express.
Now she works with urban tribes ministry. With that, she leads bible studies, women's ministry, and children's ministry in the townships. She is a women lead by the Spirit and whatever the Lord asks of her, she obeys.
They are a very sweet and passionate couple with a generous heart, since they've met us they have been helping us so so much. One of their other ministries is to bless and help people that are just settling in here.

Este mês minha equipe tem feito o que chamamos de Unsung Heroes month. Nós buscamos conhecer novas organizações e procurar futuros parceiros para o projeto.
Um dos contatos que tivemos foi com Angela e Roberto de Abreu. Angela é brasileira e mora na África do Sul há 7 anos, aqui ela conheceu Roberto, nascido na África do Sul, filho de portugueses. Agora os dois estão envolvidos em espalhar o amor de Deus de diferentes maneiras.
Angela é de São Paulo, e foi lá que conheceu à Cristo após procurar Deus em diferentes religiões. Ela teve um lindo encontro com Jesus, se sentiu chamada para sair do país em busca de espalhar o amor que sentiu.
Depois de ter tido um sonho com crianças africanas, sabia que o seu caminho estaria neste continente. Entranto não foi um processo fácil para ela sair de seu país.
Quando as portas finalmente se abriram para Àfrica do Sul ela começou seu trabalho aqui. Trabalhou com crianças nas favelas de Cape Town. Desde então trabalhou com duas diferentes organizações, fazendo porta em porta, creches, e até mesmo com futebol, basicamente fazendo tudo o que trouxesse o amor de Deus para as pessoas. Trabalhou com a African Leadership e Ambassadors no esporte, até que ela se sentiu levada para trabalhar com sua própria agenda e assim foi gerada a Africa Express.
Ela trabalha com missões Urbanas. Lidera grupos bíblicos, trabalho com mulheres e continua também com as crianças nas favelas. Ela é uma mulher liderada pelo Espírito e faz tudo o que Ele pede, em obediência.
São um casal fofo e apaixonado, tem um coração generoso e desde que chegamos tem nos ajudado muito. Outro ministério que fazem é ajudar pessoas recém chegadas aqui.
No dia que nos encontramos para conversar eles nos insistiram em abençoar- nos com jantar.
