The small blessings Make The Dream Happen!!
God has truly been blowing my mind!! ….
About 2 months ago I was sitting with my mate Emma saying " right we need to think of fundraiser ideas – I need to get $2000 before December 18th". I wasn't doubting that the money was coming but I was doing what humans do best… FREAK OUT!!!!
Time was running out and really I only had the time to do one Fundraiser – which was My Worldrace Gig night – (BIG Thank you to everyone that made it possible) Anyways.. My aunt Jane has been dealing with my money through a charity called Interlink (they help with missionaries finances all over the world) She has had people make the donations to them and then she will transfer money over for me – this has been an awesome help for me!!
So, the 1st of December came and I knew the money would be getting transferred – I prayed that it would be good!! – My aunt texted me to to tell me that $9164 had been paid in!! I couldn't believe it!! Here I am worrying about the first deadline and BOOM -$9164 is just paid in!! I was blown away – I already had money in my account so as of today I am sitting with $14,000!!! I am brought to tears just thinking about the goodness of God!! – there I was 2 months ago freaking out about where this money was going to come from- thinking I had to plan about 20 fundraisers when actually all I planned was one fundraiser – in fact I didn't even use all the money from my fundraiser I split it with a squad mate that doesn't have all of his money yet – To think how much the lord has blessed me to bless others is unbelievable!! He has taught me an amazing lesson of when God really says "TRUST ME" He really does mean it!!
This money has came in ways I never expected, in ways I never imagined – He has truly blessed me! Even the small blessings make the Dream happen!!
The other day.. I went to pick up my malaria prescription I knew it was going to be pricey – I went to the doctors and I got hit with a £30 charge just for them to write it out – I was prepared to then get hit with another BIG lump sum of money when I got to the chemist ( I had heard horror stories of people paying hundreds for malaria pills and I was getting a years supply) I took the prescription in and the lady was confused saying "there is nothing on this!" and I explained what it is and how I had just paid 30 quid for this piece of paper- she then explained to the pharmacist – I over heard her saying "that's awful that she had to pay £30 for them to write out a prescription, tell her that I will work out a price for her" – I started to pray… The lady came back and said "that will be £31" Lol! I could have hugged her. I was like "great!!!"
This is a small example of how the small blessings count and make a huge difference and yet again another example of how God is using people you least expected – This lady knew nothing of my background nothing about my trip but she saw me and felt to work another price out for me – That's being Blessed!! God is really looking out for me.
Never in my life have I ever felt so content in the knowing that this was planned for me, that this trip is for me! God has made a way and he has blessed me. He has done all the work for me.
