How much would you pay for the best date ever? 

 

So we have arrived in Chiang  Mai,Thailand.  

God is already speaking to me in powerful ways. 

This month i feel more blessed than ever. As you can see from my last month i had a hard time. We were told last month in africa about the different ministries that thailand had for us. We were told to seek God and ask him where we should be.

 When i seen the ministries my heart started to race. There was one that stuck out to me called "love acts" which is a ministry within an organisation called light house in action.

When i heard and read about love acts my heart started to pound! 

This was my desire. I wanted this ministry more than anything.

And this is why God has blessed me so much because he has allowed me to be part of this ministry 🙂 

 

Love acts is a ministry that works in the red light district.

We go into the bars and drink soda and do nothing more than simply love the girls, the lady boys, and flower boys and girls. 

This was who jesus was. He hung out with the outcasts , the prostitutes. the ones that people looked down upon! 

So this is what i am doing. 

We don't preach but simply show these girls love . 
we let them know how special they are.

 

Tonight we went into our first night of ministry – we met some girls and we met some lady boys and all i can say is that my heart goes out to every single one of them. 

I want to love them and show christ through my actions " love acts" 

Eventually when the friendship is strong I can let them in and tell them about my Jesus and what He did for me! 

 

 

One thing that sucks is that these girls need to work in the bar. That means if a customer walks  in then they need to be with him. 

 

Our vision is to get them out the bars for a night or a day and take them on a REAL DATE! 
 

A date where they will be treated with respect.

A date where they will feel true love.

A date where they will not be afraid.

A date where they can have fun. 

A date where they get to be heard and cherished. 

 

DOESN'T EVERY GIRL DESERVE THAT??

 

Yeah, of course she does! 

She is a women and is a person. She did not ask for this life. In fact a lot of the time they are forced into this life. 

 

So i am asking you all to pray for us as we go to the bars. Pray that amazing relationships will be built. That they will experience real love. That seeds planted before from previous teams will grow! 

 

I am also asking for you to prayerfully consider helping our team out by donating some extra money to us so that we will be able to take the girls out on a date. 

Also that we can even pay there bar fee (what a man would pay to take her away for the night to have sex) 

We can pay the fee but take her out to have a date with us girls. She will get to experience what it is to have girl time again. To have fun. And be loved. 

It might seem like a weird concept but really you are doing a beautiful thing – and it means you are saving her from a night full of dirt and darkness. 

 

These women and men are amazing people and deserve to be treated with the respect they deserve. God sees them and does nothing but love them. He does not feel disgust for who they and what they have done but instead his heart breaks for these girls / lady boys and loves them with so much passion. 

 

How do I truly know that? 

 

I know because since january 2011 I have been praying for a God listening heart. I have continued praying for this all the way into 2012 and I know that I know that God has changed my heart and there is times I get to see and feel glimpses of His heart. 

He weeps and His heart is sore for the pain they go through. 

The way I feel is only from God. And it hurts. 

The love I have for them is so deep and intensely crazy that without a shadow of a doubt its from God! 

He has gave me a piece of His heart for these girls and lady boys. 

Its my job to do nothing more than simply pour the love back out.

 

My heart is sore but my love is so deep and its just waiting to be poured out on these girls in love. 

 

So if you feel led to bless then please do – it will get these girls away from the rotten job they need to do every night and if nothing else it gives them a break away from the bar. 

 

So my question is: how much would you pay for the best date ever? 

How much would you give for these girls to experience true love and respect?
