So i am here in Guatemala in the city of Puerto Barrios!! We took a 6 +1/2 hour bus ride to get here and it was a stunning journey- Guatemala is beautiful and I can safely say – I AM IN LOVE!! <3 We are staying with a couple called Paul and Hilda who have started an amazing ministry here for the city of puerto barrios – including a radio station called " fe Love" which means faith love 🙂 he uses it to evangelise over the radio and play christian worship! They also work with the people of the city …. Orphans, kids hospital, the elderly, the prostitutes, the kids that work at the dump and people in the market place!! I have watched this couple and they devote their lives for the people of the city – they have time and love for people- please be praying for Paul and Hilda also their ministry team- Kevin,harrison and Andrea that they will be blessed in this ministry they will never run dry and that the ministry will grow for the city!! We have a set schedule for us to be working with them… Monday- convent where the young orphans live. Monday night- football ministry – play sports with kids in the park and build relationships. Tuesday- Children's Hospital Wednesday- elderly home Thursday- prostitute ministry Friday- The Dump Saturday- free time Sunday- church Pleas pray that we will be impacting and a bright shining light for everyone – that we will bring fe love!! People will be saved and chains will be broken!! We were told about the background for all of these ministries and it is heart breaking!! Pray that we will have strength each day and able to deal with the things we may see! God is powerfully working through us all – we are having incredible times of worship here! We are becoming more of a family everyday and the love for Guatemala is growing more and more! Family and friends please pray for Guatemala! This is a city of darkness full of a lot of witchcraft – spiritual warfare is thick here!! Pray that the darkness will turn into joy – God can do anything so make your prayers BIG!!
