"Ask and you will Receive"- lol you really will receive it!!
Hey Everyone,
So I was just thinking about when I first looked at the world race page – my Heart started to pound- I watched the video and I cried my eyes out – my heart was longing to go….. I then saw the price and every desire and expectation just about went out the window because I thought $15,500 lol I aint ever seen that money,had that money I aint ever gonna be able to get that money! So I put it on the back burner but God kept bringing it back He didnt let me forget about the world race I got upset of the thought of not going and I would day dream about going! It got to the stage where God just told me to "trust Him" why was I worrying when my own Lord – the Lord of miracles was saying "trust me dani" he had control of it! I had to let go of all my concerns and trust Him.
As you all know that I did give in and decided to hand all the money worries over to him. I said "Lord if you believe I have to go then I need you to show up big time and help make things happen!"
So I have decided to tell you just how awesome My Lord has been to me just how big He is and how He shows up Fast!!! here is just a few things he has done for me so far and I have only been accepted for just over 2 months!…..
* I got given £300 at my grans funeral because my amazing grampa took up a donation for me and my trip.
*I got a cheque for £1500 from someone very dear to me – this blew me away!! – the person told me they had the money and knew it was for me but didnt know when and why until God said this is why and now to give it to me for my funds to the World Race.- crazy!!
*I got my threads of hope bracelets through- people have been buying them – a guy I hardly know gave me a tenner but only wanted one band- people have been selling them for me even the most unlikely of people that dont know me well including my tattooist :p
*My Tattooist gave me £50!!
* I have been told by people that they will donate things for a raffle.
* I have an old friend doing a charity gig for me in the near future.
* I have been given things for car boot sales
*My friend david came to me and said "I will do a 3 mile sponsor swim for your trip" – You can still sponsor him if you havent already! ;p lol "go nibby- I believe you can do it" Sept-30th!!
*I got given a cheque from a charity for £500!!
* I have some people who have already started sponsoring me £50 a month and I have not even left yet! (mum+Dad,Fi+Maz,Joy+John- thankyou!!<3)
*my amazing aunt & uncle are given £100 a month! Thankyou!!<3
*I have my flight to america for taining camp in Oct booked! that cost me £618
*I have my sleeping bag,tent,sleeping mat,rucksack,travel gear
*I have had people buying me things for going on the trip
*I got a random donation from someone I dont know of $100- was an awesome feeling!
*i have a group of ladies who are making handmade cards and selling them for my trip!
*People have gave me random donations.
*I have met my first deadline fo the trip and I am nearly reaching the 2nd!!
lol how on earth could I doubt my God!! He has it all in control infact he has already done it and got it planned out for me- I am the one that needs to let God take control I need to trust him completely and not doubt!
So…. if God is telling you to do something and your worrying about stuff especially worrying about silly things like money then all I have to say is – " dont even give the thing He is telling you to do a second thought and just go and do it because He has a plan"!!
I still have a long way to go and I still have a lot of money to raise but I am at peace and know that God has a plan he has asked me to trust him so I really just need to… trust him lol. Trust can be such a hard thing to do for us humans but the minute you do it is the minute you really are set free!
