Thanks to all of YOU, my gracious supporters, I am only $432 away from meeting my goal for the Center for Global Action (CGA) program in Gainesville, GA!!! Thank you so much, I seriously could not do it- the Race, CGA, squad leading, without you!
Having the opportunity to attend CGA this semester was one of the best things I could have done coming home from the Race. I met some incredible people, whom I now consider to be some of my best friends. They helped me process through the things I had seen and done on my Race. I developed skills that are invaluable to my future. But I think the more important thing I learned was learning more about who the Lord has created me to be and walking confidently in that. All my recent blogs have been about it, ha! But truly, I will be able to take this with me into the next season of squad leading (if you’re not sure what squad leading is, read my blog “Let’s Do This!! Again!“), and it will continue to benefit me for the rest of my life.
My goal is to raise the $432 by the end of next week, Sunday December 21st! It can be done! If I had four people donate $100 dollars OR just eight donate $50, then one person donate $32, it’s all done! 🙂
Once I am finished fundraising for CGA, I will then be able to fundraise for squad leading. To squad lead it cost a total of $6500. The break down of that is: $3500 for the five months on the field with O-squad then $3000 for traveling to O-squad’s month 8 and month 11 debriefs.
Side note: debriefs are about five day breaks every few months, it’s a time for the squad to recuperate and to debrief anything that has been going on. They are super vital to the health of the squad and helps them to be more effective in their upcoming ministries.
I need to raise the $3500 by the end of my five months on the field- the end of May. But, I don’t want to wait I would like to get started right away! SO, my goal is to raise $2000 of the $3500 by the end of January. Please prayerfully consider partnering with me, whether it be a one-time gift or a reoccurring monthly donation. Anything helps.
