I am in awe of how good God is and how much He has blessed me.
First, I have the most amazing friends! One of my best friends, Alyssa, is putting on an event for me to help fundraise, it's a comedy show! Let me tell you though, this isn't going to be just any event. She has put in so much effort into this and has brought in many of my friends to help out with the different jobs that are necessary to make this event successful. It's is going to be SOO amazing, I cannot wait! Seriously.
When Alyssa and her boyfriend, Zach, told me they wanted to do this for me, I was so blown away. I didn't believe it at first! I was overcome by the love that they showed me, in wanting to do this event. This isn't going to be a small event either, we are hoping for over 300 people to be there. It takes a lot of work to put something like this together. It is already starting to come together! Alyssa has done such an amazing job at creating and finding mutual friends of ours to help with this event and make it successful. I seriously can't thank everyone involved enough for volunteering their time and talents to this event. Again, God has blessed me with the most incredible family and friends.
Second, I have the most amazing friends and family! haha. This will be said a lot. So, I graduated from ASU earlier this month (YAY, no more school!….. Well, at least for now) with a bachelor's in Kinesiology. Through the gifts that I received for my graduation, I was able to purchase some big items on my gear list for the WR (backpack and head lamp, a water bottle that can purify the water, towel, flashlight, and a few other things). These are all necessities and I couldn't have gotten these things without the help of friends and family. I am so blessed! THANK YOU!
Third, I am on my way to reach my first fundraising deadline ($3,500 by June 29th). I have a little ways to go, but the numbers are on the rise! I am so grateful for those that have contributed to this! Thank you so much!!

First deadline: $3,500 in my account by June 29th
Second deadline: $6,500 in my account by August 18th (I must have this amount in order to leave for the trip)
Third deadline: $11,000 by month 3 of the WR
Fourth deadline: $15,500 by month 6 of the WR
