It’s been just over two weeks since I moved to Georgia for my apprenticeship and into the house on Little Circle Drive, and holy cow am I blessed! I’m surrounded by some of the most amazing people I could ever imagine.

My house mentors, Josh and Bri are absolutely fantastic. They are caring, real about their life, and love the Lord with all their hearts. They have a two-year-old daughter named Ezra, and she is just as cute as could be! They are expecting another child in January, and they just found out the gender- it’s another girl! YAY! Their desire is to our spiritual big brother/big sister and to help us walk out our journey here at CGA.

I share the rest of the house with five other girls: Sara, Danae, Beka, Anika and Kayla. Kayla and I share they upstairs room. Sara, Danae, Beka and Anika were all on the same World Race squad; then Kayla and I were on two different squads. Being a part of this house has been one incredible experience. I came into the house not knowing any one and where majority of people already knew each other, but I felt so instantly loved by them. No one was exclusive but welcomed me into their crazy/awesome friendship dynamic. They were themselves from the beginning and it allowed me to open up so quickly.

In two weeks these girls have become my sisters and I am so thankful for them. There are NO dull moments in our house. Literally, one minute we are painting our nails then the next we are wrestling in the living room shouting, “watch the nails!” while still continuing to wrestle. Hahaha! True story. It’s the best. Everyday I laugh so hard with these girls. Sara, Danae, Anika and I are in the same track, Field Leadership, so I get to spend all day with them and I love it. I wouldn’t change a thing! What makes the dynamic between us six girls though is that we don’t just laugh, but we can be serious too. I can bring my joys, and my struggles to these girls and I know they are going to be there to support me and point me to my Father.

I can’t wait to dive deeper into my relationships with my housemates and spur them on in their relationship with Christ. The Lord has a lot of growth in store for these next three months and I will be updating you all soon about the growth that He is already producing in me!

Much love,

Dani

So! To stay here at CGA and to continue to learn and grow, I still need to raise funds for the rest of my semester. I need to raise $2,047! So that means I am over halfway funded! YAY! If I had just twenty people donate a one-time donation of $100 that would put me just $50 away from my final goal! You gave me such amazing support while I was on the World Race, I would love to partner with you again to complete a new work the Lord is doing in me through the Field Leadership track at CGA.

To donate, just click on the “Support Me” link on the left side of my blog page!

Thank you!!!
