While I was at Training Camp over a month ago, I was placed on an amazing team of girls.  The six of us complete the team we have named ourselves: Team Bella La Guerrera (Beautiful Warrior).  We fully believe that we were all placed on this team for a reason and are all SO excited to see what God has in store for us next year.

As most of you know, I have been fundraising for the last several months to try to reach deadlines that seem to always creep up rather quickly.  Thanks to the support of my family, friends, and church, I have reached my next deadline!  I feel SO incredibly blessed by all the love, support, prayers, and hugs I have received from all of you and I just cannot thank you enough.

A few of my wonderful teammates are having a tough time meeting the next deadline, and if you feel called, it would be amazing if you could support them.  This next deadline is coming up soon and is this Saturday, December 1st.  By this date, we all need at least $6,500 in our accounts.

I would like to introduce you to my incredible sisters and links to their blog pages.  They are such amazing women to get to know.  If you would like to support them, please click on the “support me” link on the left-hand side of their blog and follow the step by step instructions from there.

Brette Fischer:

This lovely lady graduated from Michigan State University with a degree in Sociology.  She is following God’s calling by going on this trip and has always had a place in her heart for Africa.  She absolutely loves laughing, which I can fully justify.  She and I laughed our heads off as we ate every last rice kernel off the table while we were starving at Training Camp.  She will be such a huge asset to our team and always had a hug for me when I needed it.  When all my gear was taken for an activity at Training Camp, she didn’t hesitate to take me into her tent and share her mummy sleeping bag that only zipped halfway down. Please help her out because, especially after Camp, she could not be more excited and ready to go on this adventure.  She still has around $1,950 to raise by Saturday.  Please visit her blog page: http://brettefischer.theworldrace.org/

Jessie Schwartz:

This joyful lady is from Erie, Pennsylvania.  She has a huge heart for others and has lots of energy.  She is a skilled beat boxer and dancer so by the end of next year, our whole team is going to be pretty hip.  Dancing with her at Training Camp was epic and made me feel really cool because she has some really good moves.  Along with these skills, she loves to laugh and is going to bring SO much fun and happiness to our team next year.  I really look forward to working alongside her next year and I can’t wait to see how God is going to use her on this journey.  She has around $1800 left to raise by this Saturday. Kristy Paruk:

This blissful lady graduated from Michigan State University with a degree in Psychology and a minor in Religious Studies.  She currently is involved with a Prison Ministry with her church and is following her calling to go on the World Race next year.  She has such a heart for people, which I really got to see even during the short week we had at Training Camp.  She would randomly blurt out exclamations; “Hot dog!” and “Jambalaya!” which would never fail to make me chuckle.  I just love how she lets her kindness and her heart lead her in what she does.  This is going to take her so far next year and will really help keep our team together and united.  Visit her blog:  http://kristyparuk.theworldrace.org/ (UPDATE: SHE MET THE NEXT DEADLINE!! :))

Several people on my Squad also have a ways to go to reach the deadline.  If you want to visit their blog, the link is: http://www.theworldrace.org/?tab=participants&group=13W0101

Thank you so much for taking the time for reading this.  Anything helps, especially prayer.  Keep on smiling.
