Growing up I was told that God can use anyone at any age.  It is one thing to believe it, another thing to see it, but it is a whole new experience to be apart of it.  This past week I was AMAZED by the youth of Las Vegas Church of the Nazarene.

Every summer LVCN leads a Vacation Bible School (VBS) that rocks this world.  I grew up going to this VBS and when I was too old to participate, I was able to help by being a volunteer.  One of the awesome things about this VBS is that the children have an opportunity to raise money for a missions project.  In the past we have raised money for many things such as mosquito nets and wells.  This year I was honored to be the missions project.

WHAT!?! REALLY?!?  I was shocked, amazed, and felt so loved.  I can't describe the feeling.

I was blessed to be able to spend the last three days of VBS with the kids.  It also worked out that they needed someone in crafts and I was able to help.  It was truly a blessing and God was in every single detail of that weekend.

This is where God blew my mind.  These kids, from 5 years old to the 6th grade raised over $1,500!  :O  Kids… "children" raised over $1,500.  To be blessed by "children" there is not much more humbling than that.

Oh wait, it gets better.  The Sunday following, parents came for the closing ceremony and got to see what these "kids" had done for the past week.  Well they took one more offering and raised OVER $2,300!!!  This puts me at over $6,000… That is my second goal…  I'm almost half way there because of "kids".

Now don't get me wrong, there were a lot of other "adults" behind this as well and I want to give a special thank you to the people who helped put this VBS on, none of this would have been possible without you.  But also to the "kids" of VBS.  Thank you for all you have done.  God can use you at any age, if you are 5 years old or 108, God can and WILL use you.

Thanks again to everyone who has helped me get to this point.  I am almost half way to being fully funded and there is no way I could have done this without your help.  So thank you, THANK YOU!
