Well… it happened.

It hit me.

I’m on The World Race.

After months and months of preparing for The World Race, the other night during worship, I realized that I’m really here…. and I couldn’t be more excited.

Spicy ZOI (teams Spicy Mustard and ZOI) arrived at Chimaltunangao a few days ago and we have been working.  We have been working with the kids, cleaning, preparing food, and helping out with other various activities.  Even though there is a lot of work, there is nothing that compares to spending time with these children.

The children that live here truly live out the name Los Gozosos. They have so much joy and so much love. They always want you to hold them, clap your hands or sing “Head, Shoulders, Knees and Toes”. They just love you no matter who you are or what your problems are. I am learning so much from these kids; they have so much to teach us. They don’t let their disabilities define them. They are simply loved by God and share that love with us. WHAT A BLESSING. They simply love everyone. Doesn’t Jesus tell us to do the same. (the answer is yes) What would the world be like if we loved like these children? I can only dream.

It hasn’t even been a week here at Los Gozosos and I know I’ll have a lot more stories of what the Lord is doing here and will report soon.  I only need a little under $4,000 to be fully funded.  Thank you so much for all of your help and continuing to be faithful 🙂  Love you all!
