Here we are, month one of this journey.
Hard to believe that it's only been about 4 days of being in this beautiful country.
I think I am honestly still trying to catch up with the reality that "this is happening."
It seem so long ago, when I decided to embark on this journey and trust the Lord, not only with my finances, but my heart, my sanity, and the completion of what He was and is doing in my life.
The day I left Oklahoma for Launch in Washington DC, i wrote this:
"Today, I left Oklahoma!
Kinda crazy, but about 6 months ago, it seemed so far away. This is a day of change, goodbyes, and new endeavors.
After several sad farewells with some amazing friends, here I find myself headed on a journey, perhaps unexpected, but definetly planned.
See, the thing is, I don't believe anything goes by without The Lord knowing, because He always knows. Though the future may seem so far off, to Him it is within reach, and every experience, every person and every place brings us closer to that "future" – that "plan" he has set for us.
The World Race will definitely be challenging. As much as I don't like to admit, it will also be full of emotions, some stronger than others. Some will be based in love, some in non-comfort, some in confrontations and others in laughter and tears.
I just know that with every day on this journey, He is bringing me closer to His purpose, to His heart and the secrets contained within His majesty."
Now, in just such a short period of time, I have been able to see all of these things that were written come to pass. I have been blessed with an amazing team of 6 individuals who are so hungry for freedom, for his presence, to learn how to be loved and be able to love one another and others in a deep way!!
I left "home" – all comforts, everything familiar, people i loved, people I was begining to love, a job, among other things, but He, our Father, came with me, and when you "lose some" for his sake, you gain so much more!!
Now that being said, I know I really didn't lose anything; you just add on to the many blessings you have 🙂
I am so excited to see how this journey will unfold, but for now I can tell you this for sure – Our God is alive and He is moving, in Ecuador, in our team, in our SQUAD and around the WORLD!
He is moving in your life, right this moment; all you have to ask yourself is "What are you saying, what are you doing in me, through me, and with me today God?"
