Today is the last day I will be here in the United States,
wow! I really never thought I would be going on this trip. But, God is always
faithful.
I am kind of sad that today in San Diego it is kind of cold and cloudy. I
really wanted to spend my day in the sun. I am not totally bummed about it
because I know I will get PLENTY of sun in the countries I will be going to.
As I start to finish last minute stuff, all of this starts to
hit me. This morning I was sitting in my car just staring into space. Then I
start to freak out, in a good way, as I start to realize this is REAL. All I do
at that time is thank God for everything and how far he has brought me.
I know today hard because I
have to say goodbye to close friends. I am not saying goodbye forever,
but for now. All of my friends that I am going to see tonight have had a huge
impact in my life. They have been there through my ups and downs. They have
been there to guide me to become the person I am today. God has put amazing
people in my life. As I get to celebrate with 40 of my closest friends tonight
I will be sad to say goodbye, but I know that they will be there to encourage
me through this new journey. Thank you everyone who has been part of my life!
As I head out for this new journey I feel God’s peace
overflow in me. Even though now I don’t have anything that is mine in the USA. Everything
I have ever own has been given away or sold. I am really going by faith on this
trip. I don’t have much money or anything to give. It’s just me and a tent,
sleeping bag, backpack, 5 shirts, 2 skirts, 1 short, and my camera. But better
then anything I have God everywhere I go.
Please continue to keep me in your prayers. This blog will
be updated as much as possible. I know sometimes we won’t have an internet
connection, so please bear with me. Continue to pray that my team and I will be
used in powerful ways to bring kingdom. God is going to do amazing things
during these months. Are you ready to see the impossible made possible? I know
He will blow you away as I will be. I pray that your minds and hearts will be
open to what God has to offer and wants you to see. As well as for me!
Tomorrow I will be at the airport at 11:30am to say goodbye
to family and a couple of friends. Everyone is more then welcome to come. I
would like to see all of your pretty faces there!
God bless you all!
