God is REAL more real
then sometimes we let Him be real in our own lives.
Where should I start….? This couple of weeks has been
AMAZING! Training camp was the start point of it all. So let me tell you a
story about how my boxes were shattered.
So, while training camp one of the days as a team we had to go out into Little
Mexico in Gainesville
to minister. First, we had to pray and ask God to lead us wherever he wanted us
to go. So we prayed waited, listened, and waited some more. Then God started to
speak to some of my teammates and they got visions about a playground, then
kids playing soccer. I got a vision of a lady in a market by a fruit stand, but
I did not want to say anything. Then one of my teammates named Leigh saw the
same thing! But she told us about it then I was able to confirm the vision was
right. I always seem to be skeptical when I get visions, or hear God voice. In
my world of reality that is not really possible! Anyways, so we went with the
vision and found a market. But for some reason I felt like it was not there or
we were wrong. See there I go again being skeptical. So, we went back outside
and prayed then God was leading one of our teammates to wait. So we waited.
Then a lady with a pink shirt came out of her car. It was her! The women we
were waiting for. Ok let’s go a little back into the story, so when we were praying
I saw a face of one of the girls on our squad. At that time I knew she needed
healing for something. Ok let’s go
forward. So, we went back in and everything started to fall into place. There
was the playground, kids with soccer jerseys, and the fruit stand. The lady was
on the side where all of that was. That is just not a coincidence! Then Leigh
and I went up to her and started a conversation with her. So, I finally told
her why I was there and how God showed us the vision of her. I asked her if she
had any health problems. She said that she was trying to have kids for 8 years.
But, God had granted her a child last week, she found out she was pregnant. But
there will be many complications, so we prayed healing over her for a healthy
birth. WOW!!
So, here goes another amazing story where God showed
himself. After we were done praying for the women we went outside to pray and
see where God is going to lead us. As we started to pray I saw a man with a gun
aiming at his head. Then he came to me in the form of my cousin’s husband. I
know that they are going through financial troubles, also really hard times
right now. All I remember feeling the pain, depression, unworthiness, and God
telling me “plaid shirt, blue, and white.” Then one of the girls was feeling that God wanted
us to go to the church. So, we started to drive to a church. Then all of a
sudden we saw kids playing soccer and we all felt that was the place God was
calling us to. So, we got off at that church. Then 4 of my teammates went to go
play soccer with the kids. Let rewind, so while we were praying and asking God
to lead us Jonathan had something written in his hand with Jose. Ok so forward
2 of the kids names where Jose! Crazy! Then all of a sudden a van pulls up and
Hailee and Jonathan are like “maybe that is them?” I was like “no.” “He dose
not have a plaited shirt!” Oh yes he did! So, Jonathan and I went towards him. Jonathan
did all the talking because I was not really sure if these were the people.
Then I felt a sense in me telling me it was them. Then I told them that I
really felt like God wanted me to pray over them. Then his wife of the man was
like “you can pray for our financial situation.” I told her I knew that. Then
we told here that God sent us here to pray for them and tell them that God
loves them. Then she started to tear up. She was shocked! Then Jonathan and I
were able to pray over them. They were so thankful. The guy was like “thank you
for the encouragement!” It really meant a lot to them. Then the guy started to
talk to me and Jonathan of how unworthy he was and how many bad things he has
done. We told him that God loves him no matter what. We used our stories as
examples. But, he was talking like he was depressed. I could just see it
through his eyes. This day was the day God wanted to save that life. God is
truly amazing! There are so many details of how God showed us that it would
take to long to explain, but God is REAL!
This day he totally blew my boxes away. I have always known
him as someone that cares form me, provides, father, etc… He is all of those,
but he is SO MUCH BIGGER then what we let him be.
This is just the beginning of my journey, now I can’t even
imagine what he will do! I am amazed by his wonders and Grace!
Please continue to keep me in your prayers. I am very close
to leaving and the devil is not happy. He keeps trying to attack me hard core.
He knows the damage my team and I are going to do together! So, PLEASE PLEASE
keep praying for me, it is vital!
