Happy Birthday to me!
Another B-day another day! On Monday Dec. 8th it is my 23rd b-day. I think the older I get the less excited I get about my birthday. I think it is me realizing that I’m getting older and not younger. There is one reason why I am excited to be 23 and it is because I will be on the World Race. This is the year where my life will be transformed in big ways. Also, It is going to be the best time of my life! I get to serve others in different countries. I get to live and learn new cultures! What more can I ask for. I’m going to be living a life that is centered around God 24/7.
So, here is a gift that I got myself for my b-day. A new internal frame backpack, sleeping bag, and sleeping pad! Since the date is getting closer to leave I needed to buy this stuff. Thank God I was able to get a second job in order to afford all of it. I still need a backpacking tent to buy. God is providing already and I’m excited to see that I was able to get this 2nd job in order to pay for stuff needed!
My B-day wish is for everyone to continue to pray for me and to keep encouraging me. Even if it is a comment on my world race blog or a email of encouragement it means so much to me. I really need it! Also, that people will open their hearts to give to this ministry. I know God will provide he always dose and always has. Pray that people will be able to join me on this new journey. I know for some people that can’t come it will impact in their lives to see all that is going to be done.
