On Sunday (3/24) eight of us from my team headed out to go on our adventure. We took two ubers to go to a state park in Costa Rica. On our way to the park my group’s uber driver started to mention that there is ghosts at the insane asylum, which we drove by to get to the state park. Our uber driver stopped for a second so we could take a picture of the cows on the side of the road. After he stopped he had a hard time getting the car to pick up speed. The car started to heat up and smoke. The car eventually got going again and we were on our way again. Our uber driver blamed it on the ghosts and the spirits of the insane asylum. I was not too pleased how our uber driver mentioned how there are spirits and ghosts that appear in the evenings and blaming the car on the spirits. I do not think that it would have bothered me as much as it did, if a week ago our team did not experience some spiritual warfare. We stayed at the the park for a hour an a half. We had a picnic on the mountain. It was enjoyable. The view was beautiful. On our way back down we were trying to call a uber driver. We were not getting much luck. We eventually continued to walk down the road trying to get more phone service. We eventually got two ubers. Although the uber drivers kept canceling on us when they figured how high up we were. We kept walking down the mountain. We stopped at a beautiful restaurant to try to figure out the uber drivers. We were able to get a hold of two uber drivers. One of them was getting closer, we then decided to continue to walk. We eventually saw one of the uber driver’s passed us. After we decided who will take the first uber then we set off on our separate ways. My group continued to walk down the road. We stopped at a beautiful green bridge. It was a little sketchy but still beautiful. Our uber driver cancelled on us so we were trying to find another uber driver. We found another uber driver. We asked if they would be willing to pick us up near the insane asylum. They eventually cancelled on us. We had near 12 uber drivers that cancelled on us. We decided to stop and asked some people at a produce stand if they had the number for a taxi. We were there for a while until they decided to call a taxi. I am thankful for God always being in control and being there with us. I am thankful for God leading us to the people at the produce stand, I am thankful for them helping us to get a hold of a taxi. I am thankful for God helping us to get back home! I am thankful for our 6 miles nature walk!
