Last Saturday my team had the amazing opportunity to visit Thomas a missionary in Nicaragua! He lives on the other side of the island of Cicrin. Thomas’s house has an excellent view of both volcanoes dorsain and active. On Saturday my team went swimming at the beach. It was beautiful and peaceful afterwards we went back to Thomas’s house to worship and enjoy the sunset. I am thankful for God’s beautiful creation!

On Monday part of my team went out and we prayed for people! On our way back a couple boys asked if we wanted to ride their horses. We took turns riding on the horses! In the evening we played baseball and hung out with the kids. I am thankful for all of the adventures and memories that I am making in Nicaragua!

In the morning on Tuesday I helped out serving food in the cafeteria! I enjoy seeing all the kids and hanging out with them! In the evening we played soccer with the kids.
In the morning on Wednesday I helped out raking leaves. In the evening I had an opportunity to go to their Wednesday night church service. It was enjoyable! At the end we were divided into 4 groups. In our groups we took time to pray. Everyone prayed all at once! It was so good and powerful!
On Thursday I helped organizing chairs at the school. Emily and I got talked into teaching the 6th graders how to use a map on a iPhone. We had no idea that we were going to be doing that, it was enjoyable! In the evening we played soccer with the kids. My team got the chance to hear Helen’s testimony on how God lead her to Cicrin. Her testimony was such a great story on how she took a leap of faith and kept trusting on God!

On Friday I helped out in the kitchen by mopping and sweeping the floors! It is crazy to think how quickly time has been flying by. It does not feel real that this is our last full week in Nicaragua! I am just beyond thankful for God leading my team to Cicrin! I am going to miss Cicrin and all of the kids! Next week on Wednesday February 27th my team will be taking a bus to Costa Rica! I am excited to see what God has in store for all of us.
Tomorrow (Saturday) half of my team will be hiking a Volcano at 4:00 a.m. please keep us in your prayers! I am excited for a new adventure!

Thank you for your prayers!
Dalice
