I am enjoying my time in San José Costa Rica! Last Wednesday (3/6) we arrived at Adventures in Missions base. On Thursday (3/7) we helped a couple of families move out of their house into their new house. I am thankful for God always being in control. God gave me the courage to share part of my story. One of the mothers recently lost her son. I shared with her how I know what it feels like to loose a close loved one. I am thankful for God using each one of us to help uplift one another. On Friday and Saturday my team helped out by running activities for the neighborhood kids. It was enjoyable. On Sunday we had the opportunity to go out and explore downtown San José! Monday (3/11) was our rest day it was a day to relax and to recharge for the week! In the evening we held our own home church. We listened to a podcast. On Wednesday we helped out by cleaning and painting Conexion’s medical unit. On Thursday and today we helped out by leading and running activities for the kids at a school.
God answered my prayer! When I went to Urbana 18 back in December. My goal was to get a graphic design job or an internship. When I got home I applied for a wide range of internship and job opportunities. I will be a graphic design intern for EPPIC! EPPIC is a Christian organization in Minnesota. They are big into mimes. Actions speaks louder than words. My internship will be June through August. Please pray for me as I start my fundraising journey for my internship opportunity!
Thank you for your prayers,
Dalice
