Whats up!! I know it has been forever since I have done a blog, but some amazing things have been happening in my life since the last time I blogged! But I just got back home from Training Camp For 10 days, and man it was such an amazing experience getting to meet everyone and grow so close with everyone in a short amount of time. I made so many incredible memories at training camp that I will never forget, and made lifelong friendships. But in these past ten days I have also grown a deeper relationship with god and learned a lot of important lessons about intimacy with god, being emotionally ready for the race, and many more things through the sessions we had everyday at training camp. I’ve got so many funny and amazing memories from this week that are really awesome/funny like for example fitting six people in a four person jeep for an hour and a half, Eating weird food I thought I would never ever eat… like Crickets and some days I didn’t eat very much at all like on India Day, Did crazy dances with my squad mates, Took buckets showers everyday, Hiked up a very steep mountain, and much more. I also got baptized this week and that was one of the best decisions I’ve made, because I was baptized as a kid but as a kid you really aren’t sure what it means, but as an 18 year old on July 15th I was baptized again by an amazing person named Reid that poured wisdom and knowledge into me and my other squad mates throughout this past week! This week was one of the best weeks ever and it gets me so excited to launch in 53 days with my new family, but I also have to raise 4,550 more dollars to be able to launch in september but god has showed me many times throughout my fundraising process that The World Race is what I’m supposed to be doing in this season of life, so I can’t wait to see him show out in these next couple of weeks as everything starts to come together because he will provide for me! During training camp we were told that our next fundraising goal deadline is August 22nd and I kinda got discouraged and then later that day one of my mentors said that I was chosen to be a team leader and my position was team treasurer! So that was God’s way of telling me to calm down and that this is my plan and what I’m supposed to be doing! So once again Thank you to everyone that got me to where I am in fundraising right now! You guys are helping Bring God’s kingdom all around the world and it means everything to me! I’m going to have some fundraisers coming up soon to help me reach my next goal! If you would like to talk about anything please contact me or we can have Coffee, lunch or something!! Thanks so much!!!
