Arrived in the Philippines about 2 weeks ago, and it’s been really cool to settle into our ministry here! Our ministry for the next three months is that we live in a boys home with about 17 street kids that live here. These boys were out on the streets at young ages fighting, doing drugs and doing nothing good. Because the Philippines has a really bad problem with street kids, we see them everyday when we go outside of children’s garden and we feed street kids on Friday nights here at the ministry! It’s a really cool opportunity to get to know the kids and disciple them because that is one of our main Ministry’s is to just disciple them and teach them what it means to be a man of god. I really like it, it’s a very good ministry opportunity! And it’s manistry month and it just all of us guys for a full month then we are back with our normal teams but I have really enjoyed it! But this ministry is teaching me a lot and I’m grateful for it! We have done outreach and then we are doing a lot of concrete work, we have been working on a basketball court for a while and today we finished most of the concrete for it, it takes longer because in the states you just get a mixer… here we mix it with shovels, but hey it’s a lot of fun lol!
